About Me

Kuro is a multidisciplinary artist from Athens, Greece, based in Vienna for the past 14 years. His work moves between tattooing, painting, art toys and diorama creation, always driven by a strong cinematic atmosphere and a deep love for 1990s Japanese anime, manga and pop culture.

After earning his diploma in Sketch Cartoons and Comics, he worked for several years in the textile printing industry while creating short stories, comic projects and cover artwork for online magazines. Eventually, his passion for visual storytelling led him into tattooing.

His style is shaped by dark Japanese horror, sketch-driven blackwork, graphic romanticism and underground aesthetics. Whether through tattoos, paintings or collectible-inspired pieces, Kuro blends emotion, movement and nostalgia with a raw contemporary edge.
